Well, December is edging oh so closer and frankly I have just touched the type of ly lit.review iceberg. It's taking more and more time to write this, why? Just paraphasing sentences is just hell especially for my already small capacity brain of mines. It's funny how when I see my advisor I understand what to, when I step out of his office I'm back to 'What should I be writing?!' It pains and frustrates me how I have a always shrinking memory now.

On friday, I noticed how my attention span was limited to only 30 minutes. The lecturer left and I was thinking, "YES! LECTURE FOR TODAY IS OOOOOVER!!" Then she was saying, right after what I was thinking, "....and Prof..(whatever his name is) will be coming in, in 10 minutes to talk to you about ...blah blah blah." I was like, "WHAT THE F***!? MORE?! YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING MAN?! STILL MORE...?!" My immediate thought was that I'm screwed my attention span is only 30 minutes. Turned out, for that lecture my attention span was for the full one hour ^.^ mainly because he started to ask US questions so unconsciously I stayed awake, which was good because he asked me 2 questions.

Had a weird dream. It replayed itself twice and everytime it was changing subtle details. It's been 2 days so forgot lots apart from the main part.

Tic Tac Toe )

I guess I should make at start on lit. review huh?

I want to learn:

SS501 - Love like this
SHINee - Ring Ding Dong (it's just too funny not to)

I wonder if I have time to.

Just stuff.

Currently writing my literature review. Let me tell you, harder than I thought - mainly because I have no aim. Advisor was saying, "Just research on it and after a while, start to narrow it down and down to what you specifically want to investigate on and go from there." Done that. Doesn't help when once again I must stress - NO AIM can't actually write a proper literature review without it!! Whilst showering it came to me - 3 weeks just researching and writing stuff aimlessly and when showering it finally came to me. I hope I can write this in a month, even though it is 15 pages just thinking of coherent sentences that does not plagiarise other works is hard.

I have much more to write but I hate typing - make too much typos, maybe I should just type everything up in the Christmas holidays considering I won't have exams in the Winter Break - finally.

My dream.

Ticki toc tick toc..... )

Very nice to see what he looked like - wears glasses and a kind of funny guy personality.

Well back to writing - must get something done but really tired - clock gone back, very very tired now *yawn*

Mad time.

Finally got new boiler!! - Hip hip HURRAY!!!

Uni has been a bomb!! NOT!
3 hour lectures are very tedious but I guess it's because right now it's just 3rd year recap stuff so that's why I am falling deep into a sleep. Hopefully it'll be more interesting or less sleepy in the next lectures.

Finally found people in my course who are doing a dry project!! I feel soo much happier now knowing that I'm not the one being singled out for a dry one. It's very interesting my title: Acupuncture. I guess I do have some kind of upper hand since I know chinese and if I don't, I have Turkey (or was it Chicken..man been ages since we called each other by bird species). Now, it's just journal reading after journal reading sooo boring that I shall drop down and snooze.

Hope tomorrow will be a blast!! If it isn't a blast I hope it would be fun or somewhat you know, a nice turn out of people there. People better come - I'm making food man!!
People better buy my stuff - I need space in my house for well.....new stuff.

Before I forget...which happens a lot.

Well, I was crapping myself thinking 'UNI NEXT WEEK!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!" Turned out - not till next next week. Which then reminds me - nooo friends in uni!! Well no fun friends in uni I mean, I do have some friends there but the ones I have a laugh with are gone. :(. Stephy is gone to look after her baby, I was right it's a boy - hahaha I was right! They were wrong! Then Issy is gone :( gone gone away to Cale. Man, no one to learn my Japanese or muck around in lectures or copy maths, I mean help with maths. Lastly Susie is off to Korea - bleh, no one to see at Round Reading Room. 4th year is going to suck - I think it's because I've had WAY too much fun in 3rd year so this year God has taken that luxury away from me because I need to pay attention.

I guess I should be happy, I've got a book-based honour project. I mean it sucks because to me book-based = no experiments = no fun. But, after the summer holidays, as well as actually having my basic math skills plummet even my multiplication table has also dropped - DROPPED BADLY. I mean I actually used to pride myself that even though my maths skills sucked ONLY my multiplication was good - I mean I won spelling (multiplication) bee with it!

So yeah - What to anticipate for 4th year - No friends. No fun. No nice lunch to have.

Oh yeah my dream before I forget (hence the subject title).

Pandas can be agile too. )

Kung Fu Panda I refused to watch in the cinema. Laura bought the DVD, it's actually quite good - I like it anyway.

My Summer Accomplishments
Learnt dances over summer:
SuJu - Sorry Sorry + Nolako (that how you spell it CoCo?).
SHINee - Noona Neomoo Yeoppeo (Replay).
SNSD - Gee + Tell me your wish (Genie).  (Learnt that in one day ONE DAY. Sue kindly reminded me it was 6 hours. Shows you how easy it is.)
Wonder Girls - Tell Me.
22/09/2009 12:45: Totally forgot about this one but that's because I learned it at the beginning of summer holidays and well my memory is hazy but after listening to it yesterday I remembered ---> 蔡依林 - 花蝴蝶

Cue in the toothache

Haven't had a Lion bar for ages ages as in like 1 - 2 years if memory serves me correct. Took one bit - ONE BITE and WHAM! Toothache ensues it's as if my body wishes me to not enjoy the luxuries if life - not allowed to have a lot of sugar or fizzy drinks and now I guess sweets and chocolates are on that list...*sigh*

Now uni life is edging ever so closer - really dreading it a lot. All the presentations and 3 hour lectures - very not looking forward to.

Just a minutes ago there was 20 seconds of full sunshine before the grey clouds covered it - it was lovely.

Oh yes my dream. Been 2 days - mostly likely forgot everything considering it was just like 3 weeks when i worked in Ocean Park and my basic maths skills dropped, I mean plunged significantly and that really terrified me, still has because now I am thinking, "Honour Project you are screwed!!" Reminds me, yesterday this wasp flew in through the back and as a human I freaked and according to 呀姨 she said it flew away to the shop front. Then afterwards it flew back in again via the back. 呀姨 shooed it away with a cardboard and it didn't come back. Then around 10ish when we were having dinner IT FLEW BACK IN AGAIN!! According to 呀妈 (ok why da hell is that in simplified chinese?!)媽 (man...STUPID PEN WRITER THINGY had to go and convert it - YOU PIECE OF CRAP) and 哥哥 it did a kamikaze and plunged itself into the bin - I think 哥哥 killed it.

Okay back to my dream.

I am not stubborn - just merely correctly. )

Memory failing.

I actually thought that I had updated - guess I was wrong.

Just 5 minutes ago I had a little 'blonde' moment. I decided after very much long long time to give my PC desk a long due wipe down (it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, especially underneath the printer - I mean bloody hell I found money underneath there!) So there I was wiping it thinking, "Hey, where's my red clip? It was just there yesterday and before I shifted everything to the floor. Where did it go? WHERE DID IT GO?!" After that, I went into a slight panic state but then I thought, "It'll turn up. It's definitely in the living-room, most positive of that fact - it'll show up." After cleaning up the mess from the floor and shifting it back up on to the desk (yes, cleaning is moving one mess to another spot) I still couldn't see it and thought, "Shit, I lost it - damn it!!" Then after prancing around like an idiot to Replay and Sorry Sorry I touched my head and ta-da! There it was - red clip on my head and to think I was in a panic state over it for like 10 minutes when all along it was on my head - HAHAHA!~ It's a parody of the good old 'Where's my glasses?! On your head' skit except I don't wear glasses so instead red clip was substituted in.

SHINee - Replay, completed just need lots of polishing up - lots of polishing and a mirror yes, a mirror need that too.

Dream. Hate Vista. Dream. Hate Vista.

Goodbye little old computer process - I shall miss you especially your XP OS system - I shall really miss that the most. Just thinking about it is making me depressed.

Really don't like the Vista.
First: The program list - can it be any confined?! Apparently Microsoft said yes. It soo annoying especially when someone has installed an Adobe suite. It's just a pain scrolling through that damn list and then you have to expand it!! Argh...the list gets longer damn annoying - everything is just squished into a tiny space and then I really have to look for that program - will it kill ya to not confine it man?!
Second: my run command has been evicted into the abyss - but then this isn't really a big problem but I really do like it be there where I can see it - it makes me happy.
Third: Sometimes I can't find things man - this is just way to user-friendly - takes me ages to find things - I like it to be a tad hostile.
Fourth: I can't format this damn computer without partitioning the harddrive!! Why does things have to be sooo confusing.

Update later.
Finishing update: 03/08/2009 at 16:28

Okay, finally on to finishing this thing or else I'll just leave this hanging about. After 2 days on the Vista I am working my head around this but I still don't like how my work bar or whatever-it-is-called space is teeny so things get squished. My screen is squished but that is due to my monitor being wide-screen. Oh, monitors - whats with the trend of wide-screen...it's not proportional...everything is stretched! - and not in a good way.

Anyway on to my dream.

Monkey Clown!! )

You have to be there to hear it you would find it very cute. ^.^

It's weird how now I am listening to korean songs. Ages I was thinking that I would stay away from it as well - hahaha. They do have some good songs I must say.

PS - Sorry Sorry and It's You SuJu dances - Completed

RoboTwins

(Damn right!) Team Sandal Hat Urahara Ki
I finally watched Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen!! Woohoo!!~ I'm actually glad that I watched it today since tomorrow (or should I say technically today) have a lot of laundry to do.

First Cineworld had a bloody power cut, and I thought ,"Okay, please have power back up soon." and the guy said it would be back on at 4pm and I thought, "NOOOOOO!" Cocohead was devastated and we ended up on a trip to Braehead to watch it and it was expensive!! Odeon's student price was like the price of an adult ticket at Cineworld, no wonder most of Odeons are closed.

The movie was great I thought - get to see Optimus Prime and Bumblebee again. I still miss Jazz. The RoboTwins took time to understand but they were funny and the little tiny car robot, oh and also that old grandpa robot was cool, I like him too ^.^. Cocohead is going to buy the DVD anyway so even though the plot was a bit of a head scratcher at first after watching it a few more times later it will be all good. Hahaha.

I got my results ages ago and frankly I was disappointed with it. I wanted Bs but then after thinking about it for a very long time apart about the exams I am very happy that I got Cs - very very happy ^.^ I should be happy that I did not fail - and YES I AM!! YA-HA!!~

Been too lazy to post but then I decided - yeah! I watched Eyeshield 21 and then it abruptly ended after Deimon Devil Bats vs Oujo White Knights!! I was like "Hey! What about the Christmas Bowl?! You can't end it here!!" So after watching it because of Hiruma's antics. I love Hiruma Youichi hehehe ^.^ YA-HA! Read all of Eyeshield 21 and my oh my the anime cut out a lot of Hiruma's little but funny antics well I guess they had to but so happy it is read - got that done. Somehow this sports anime fever stayed and I ended up watching and liking One Outs - it's more to do with mind games stuff than baseball well it does have baseball but I think there is more of mind games in it but I still like it. Now I have a good not the best understanding of American football and now I feel like watching The Longest Yard to see how much American Football I can now understand XD. I still don't get baseball.

Done.

FINISHED ME EXAMS!!! Woohoo!!~
All left to do? Worry - yeeeeh!! >.< ;¬.¬

I had 2 weird dreams. The first was I was petrified and refused to go into the living room because there was 2 hornet wasps there and I had to go in to get on the computer. The second I was in some entertainment plaza where there was a huge food area overlooking the stage performance area. I was hiding from dad - yet again with a cousin of mines who was very young.

Watched the Eurovision Contest and UK did good - very impressed with UK did quite well. Miss Terry Wogan doing the commentary. I am very close to wanting Norway's song - the dude who sings it reminds Sue and I of Enrique Iglesias....

Let the holidays commence!!
Soo much stuff to clear out.
So much manga, anime and dramas to watch - busy busy busy.

Exams..

Lately my dreams seem to center around uni...I want to dream about something else although I did dream about being a vampire and Stephen Fry was a werewolf. I think I'll post that later - I liked that dream it was different.

Goodbye Batman - you shall be missed..a lot and by a lot. )

Study is a pain. somehow even though I am thinking I am studying a lot the number of topics to learn is well - STILL A LOT!!! I think I am studying a lot but when I look at the 2 pile of 'Need-to-be-studied' - I still got a long waaaaay to go, and the fact that the date is now a double figure - this does not look like a promising scenario to be considered in - AND I EVEN CUT DOWN THE TOPICS I SHALL NOT STUDY AS WELL!! ARGH!!! 5 essays in 3 hours - God help me.....help me write that fast without being distracted by the displays. >.<

HOLIDAY!!

  • Mar. 27th, 2009 at 3:36 PM
(Damn right!) Team Sandal Hat Urahara Ki
Easter holiday has finally graced itself upon us poor stressed students. Now hibernating studying shall begin. I can't believe that NOW...YES NOW I have found out that if I don't pass this year they're just going to give me a designated degree and then well to put it bluntly - kick me out of uni, oh how nice(!) Now, I have to kick start studying and somehow will the little willpower I have left, which is only like a teaspoon amount - start studying and get some kind of good end exam mark. This is going to be hard.

Yesterday did my presentation - as petrifying as it was. I was shaking but not like a leaf.  It was daunting because we we number 4 to present ours and that was like halfway because there was 7 groups. I was watching all the groups before me present theirs and oh my god how good they were - funny, very natural and most importantly had no cellular level crap. That got me in a panic since my topic was cellular and after watching theirs I was starting to think mines was irrelevant but I thought 'What's done is done.' We did our presentation on congenital rubella, I was sooo nervous when I had to do mines. Izzy was very happy that there was a table in front of her - so she can hold on to it to stop herself from shaking. We used my mp3 player to store the presentation, and when we were trying to load it on the laptop it was moving very slow so projected up onto the screen was my music playlist and I was thinking, 'Great, now people know what weird songs I listen to.' >.< Just thinking of the people look at the weird dodgy song titles - how embarrassing. When I was doing my talk I was staring at the faraway wall, at the lecturer, at Alex ( his head was sticking out the most), at the laptop screen and at the projected screen, oh and at my notes. I was staring everywhere!! Ours was over and done with and lecturer always comments at the end of each one. She was saying how interesting it was to hear about the immune system side of the story, and guess what?! THAT WAS MY SIDE OF THE TOPIC!! I was soo happy because unlike in 2nd year when my topic was erased because it was irrelevant and I got stuck doing the introduction, this time, my topic = relevant! Very relieved to get that over and done with, had the Spot test today - I think I got like 2 answers correct. I was trying to copy of the person next to (Anatomy students are very brainy you see), and I got a few answers but obviously not super copy her - just a few copying like 2 - the rest I did it although most of it was made up or just any answers that popped in.  So now, 3rd year is kind of over - just waiting for exams - depressing.

I can't believe I was walking through the rain and strong wind ALL DAY and now, when I sit inside - THE SUN IS SHINING IT'S ASS OFF AT ME. >.<

Ah... One Week to Go.

It's just great how in the last week, I have a presentation PLUS a test to do. - Just great(!)

Worst part about my presentation - My topic is the cellular level of congenital rubella - I hate that I wish I didn't pick that, seriously I wish stamped my foot down for the abnormalities instead of being so stupidly polite - hate being British. >.<

Also hate sleep paralysis - twice that's happened - it is not fun, not fun. I thought I was going to suffocate under the duvet because of the heat. From now on - head above duvet ALWAYS.

I had 2 dreams.

Stealing ginger biscuits - shocking but yummy. )

Research information is boring I'll tell ya that.

Endless work.

Got so much things to do. Have to rewrite my lectures notes but I really don't wanna.

It's official I didn't get into the training course. Why? The dude based his decision to not get me in on how well I would do on HIS project..I mean fair enough if I just ticked his project, but if he looked further down, which I highly doubt, I also ticked someone else's project too. Noooo...did not see that and now I have lost a super chance of learning some techniques that would give me a upper hand when getting a job - thank you very much, sir(!)

Had soo much different dreams lately especially today - had like 5 different ones but now I can't remember them anymore *sigh*.

I do remember this other dream because I thought it was very funny and the fact that Malcolm in the Middle managed to pop in.

Goodbye and thanks for all the fish. )

Was going to post about my weird dream about this contest that I was pitched against Sue and this other dude. Climbing ropes, opening locked boxes to get little prizes (trinket boxes and ornaments) and clues to be the winner. It was funny the clue - You eat it with a spoon and it makes you fart....hm...what is it?. I won in the end. MWAHAHA.

Something depressing just came crashing down. It seems I have been taking off the mailing list. That mean I can't get the license, which ultimately means no fun honour project to do next year - great(!) Everytime there is some opportunity to do something through the uni I always never get it...I guess this time would be no different *sigh*. Worst thing is he wants a response by Monday - yeh...mines is gonna be super late or maybe even given a 'No'. Already prepared for the negative e-mail answer of 'Yeah, I took you off it because you know you don't qualify or whatever.' This is soo going to piss off Issy since she'll be there without weird little me to accompany her for the fun. She's says he has a bad memory and maybe by accident left me out...but come on... missed me 2 e-mails..I mean one e-mail fair enough but 2?! Come on!! Man......and I really wanted to do that one project *sigh* guess I'll be stuck with quite boring non-hands on projects then.

It sucks.

Was the second last surviving of the house to NOT get a cold. What happened yesterday? - Caught it. It's a mild one but the aches and pains, weird throat feeling and a blocked/running nose is making me feel so 'arrrrggggh'. Just can't be bothered with anything. Thank god I have just one lecture at 1. Like what the doctor said - have plenty of rest ^.^. Sleep in. This better be just a week problem or I am screwed.

Made a weird discovery about myself. Now normally when I feel I cannot do mental arithimetric to save my ass - ok doing mental ones very berry fast, but today I surprised Sue with quick arithmetric - her and me!!! So I guess I can only do fast arithmetric when I am feeling unwell - when I have a cold. >.<

Sooo happy.

Club President - Me!
Vice-President - Sue

Member/ Merchandiser - Matty.

Missing a secretary... *sigh* don't have any candidate. Everyone goes through a screening process. Like I said, "Don't want a BAD apple SPOILING everyone's fun," (Lol, get it?)

Trying to get badges for it ^.^ - arm badges (really like those). I'm thinking a blue background and then that's it. Need a logo.

Brain dissection labs are officially over. A big shame since I bought a £16 dissection and it was never even used - so now it's going to be left cast aside until like someone want to chop chicken or prawns or something >.< or for fabric use I don't know the list is endless.

Now I have reports to write!! Worse part - it's practically a physics report, which I unfortunately do not like or can actually do so a lot of mumble jumble I need to think up. Now I know why I despise reports. Doesn't help how I have a tutorial essay is going to help argghh i just hate today in generally - it's cold, I had a test and stupid reports.
Next week is like a double-edged sword - I have only one lecture (woohoo!!) but it is slotted for 1pm >.< Come in just for one lecture...and it's like right slap bang in the middle of the day I would rather prefer it to be in the morning at least afterwards I can do other stuff or maybe revise (we all know that isn't going to happen for me (hahaha)

PS - Sent my external HHD only cost about £7 for a 1.6kg parcel (I jammed packed it with bubble wrap since I have a lot from my Yesasia stuff). Sent a 640gb hard drive and a replacement was sent to me...a 1TB!! What are the chances huh?! At first I thought it was a mix up and everyone was telling me to keep it but then I don't want them to charge money to Gogo's card so I was going to be good and tell them they sent the wrong one to me. However (this is the good bit) after reading the little fine note I normally skim, I read some really nice information - something along the lines of basically if they don't have your model they would send you instead one that is similar or even better. Woohoo!! And the replacement if bought on Amazon costs like £135 as well whilst the 640gb when I bought it was £50.
